As stewards of education and empowerment, our chapter is dedicated to uplifting the youth of our community through impactful annual programs. Allow us to share the transformative initiatives that shape the lives of our young individuals.

Annual Programs:

Delta GEMS (Growing and Empowering Myself Successfully)

Delta GEMS is a program designed to catch the dreams of at-risk African-American adolescent girls aged 14-18. Our goals for Delta GEMS are multi-faceted:
Picture
  • Create compassionate, caring, and community-minded young women through service learning and community service opportunities.
  • Assist in goal setting and planning for their futures in high school and beyond.
  • Provide tools for girls to sharpen and enhance their skills for academic success.
  • Instill the need to excel academically.
  • Delta GEMS offers a roadmap for college and career planning, guiding participants through activities that foster self-reflection and individual growth. This program is a testament to our commitment to empowering young women to "Discover their individual Brilliance."
